Twin Cities Tübingen - Moshi
Did you know that Tübingen in Germany had a twin city at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania?
On the 16th June of 2014 Moshi announced a twin city partnership with Tübingen. The legal paper was signed in a ceremony in Moshi by Mayor Jaffary Raphael Michael and Daniela Rathe, head of the faculty for art and culture, as a representative for Mayor Boris Palmer.
The twin city partnership between Tübingen and Moshi aims to encourage and simplify individual and institutional contacts and encounters as well as to make the cooperation on global problems such as climate change and peace work on the municipal level possible.
